概述 Overview

本品为柏科植物侧柏Platycladus orientalis（L.）Franco的干燥成熟种仁。秋、冬二季采收成熟种子，晒干，除去种皮，收集种仁。
Platycladi Seed is the dried mature seed of Platycladus orientalis (L.) Franco (Fam. Cupressaceae). The drug is collected in autumn and winter when the seed is mature, dried, the seed coat is removed, and the seed is collected.

性状 Description

本品呈长卵形或长椭圆形，长4～7mm，直径1.5～3mm。表面黄白色或淡黄棕色，外包膜质内种皮，顶端略尖，有深褐色的小点，基部钝圆。质软，富油性。气微香，味淡。
Seeds are oblong or elongated-elliptical, measuring 4-7 mm long and 1.5-3 mm in diameter. The surface is yellowish-white or pale yellow-brown, with a membranous outer coat and an inner seed coat. The apex is slightly pointed, with small dark brown dots, and the base is bluntly rounded. The texture is soft and oily. It has a slight fragrance and a mild taste.

鉴别 Identification

本品粉末深黄色至棕色。种皮表皮细胞长条形，常与含棕色色素的下皮细胞相连。内胚乳细胞类多角形或类圆形，胞腔内充满较大的糊粉粒和脂肪油滴，糊粉粒溶化后留有网格样痕迹。子叶细胞呈长方形，胞腔内充满较小的糊粉粒和脂肪油滴。
The powder of this drug is deep yellow to brown. The epidermal cells of the seed coat are elongated and often connected to the subepidermal cells containing brown pigments. The endosperm cells are mostly polygonal or round, with large starch grains and fat droplets filling the cell cavity. After the starch grains dissolve, a grid-like trace remains. The cotyledon cells are rectangular and filled with smaller starch grains and fat droplets.

Not more than 5 μg of aflatoxin B1 per 1000 g of the drug, and the total amount of aflatoxin G2, aflatoxin G1, aflatoxin B2, and aflatoxin B1 should not exceed 10 μg <2351>.

本品为均匀、疏松的淡黄色粉末，微显油性，气微香。
The product is a uniform and loose pale yellow powder, slightly oily, with a slight fragrance.

用于阴血不足，虚烦失眠，心悸怔忡，肠燥便秘，阴虚盗汗。
It is used for deficiency of Yin and Blood, restlessness and insomnia, palpitations and arrhythmia, dry intestines and constipation, and spontaneous sweating due to Yin deficiency.

概述 Overview

本品为柏科植物侧柏 Platycladus orientalis（L.）Franco 的干燥成熟种仁。秋、冬二季采收成熟种子，晒干，除去种皮，收集种仁。
Chinese Arborvitae Kernel is the dried ripe kernel of Platyclddus orientalis (L) Franco (Fam. Cupressaceae). The ripe seed is collected in autumn and winter, dried in the sun, and removed from the testa, gathered the kernel.

性状 Description

本品呈长卵形或长椭圆形，长4～7mm，直径1.5～3mm。表面黄白色或淡黄棕色，外包膜质内种皮，顶端略尖，有深褐色的小点，基部钝圆。质软，富油性。气微香，味淡。
Long ovoid or long elliptical, 4-7 mm long, 1.5-3 mm in diameter. Externally yellowish-white or pale yellowish-brown, covered with membranous tegmen, apex slightly acute, with a small dark brown point, base obtusely rounded. Texture soft, oily. Odour slightly aromatic; taste, weak.

鉴别 Identification

本品粉末深黄色至棕色。种皮表皮细胞长条形，常与含棕色色素的下皮细胞相连。内胚乳细胞类多角形或类圆形，胞腔内充满较大的糊粉粒和脂肪油滴，糊粉粒溶化后留有网格样痕迹。子叶细胞呈长方形，胞腔内充满较小的糊粉粒和脂肪油滴。
Powder: Dark yellow to brown. Epidermal cells of testa strip-shaped, often connecting hypodermis cells containing brown pigments. Endosperm cells subpolygonal or subrounded, lumina filled with relatively large aleurone grains and fatty oil droplets, leaving grid-shaped traces after aleurone grains melting. Cotyledons cells rectangular, lumina filled with relatively minute aleurone grains and fatty oil droplets.

柏子仁霜 Platycladi Semen (frost-like powder)

制霜 Processing

取净柏子仁，照制霜法（通则0213）制霜。
Make the clean Chinese Arborvitae Kernel into frost-like powder as described under the method for frost-like powder<0213>.

本品为均匀、疏松的淡黄色粉末，微显油性，气微香。
Pale yellow powder, even and loose, slightly oily. Odour, slightly aromatic.

甘，平。归心、肾、大肠经。
Neutral; sweet. Meridian tropism: Heart, kidney, and large intestine meridians.

功能与主治 Actions and Indications

养心安神，润肠通便，止汗。用于阴血不足，虚烦失眠，心悸怔忡，肠燥便秘，阴虚盗汗。
To nourish the heart, tranquilize the mind, moisten the intestines, open the bowels, and relieve sweating. Indicated for deficiency of yin-blood, deficiency vexation, insomnia, palpitation, fearful throbbing, constipation caused by intestinal dryness, and night sweating caused by yin deficiency.
