概述 Overview

本品为碳酸盐类矿物方解石族方解石，主含碳酸钙（CaCO3）。采挖后，除去杂石。
Stalactite is the mineral of the carbonate class, calcite group, mainly containing calcium carbonate (CaCO3). After excavation, remove impurities.

性状 Description

本品为钟乳状集合体，略呈圆锥形或圆柱形。表面白色、灰白色或棕黄色，粗糙，凹凸不平。体重，质硬，断面较平整，白色至浅灰白色，对光观察具闪星状的亮光，近中心常有一圆孔，圆孔周围有多数浅橙黄色同心环层。气微，味微咸。
Stalactite is a conical or cylindrical aggregate. The surface is white, grayish-white, or brownish-yellow, rough, and uneven. It is heavy and hard, with a relatively flat section. The color is white to light grayish-white. When observed under light, it shows a star-shaped brightness. There is often a circular hole near the center, and there are many shallow orange-yellow concentric rings around the hole. It has a slight odor and a slightly salty taste.

鉴别 Identification

取本品，滴加稀盐酸，即产生大量气泡，溶液显钙盐（通则0301）的鉴别反应。
Take the drug, add a drop of dilute hydrochloric acid, and produce a large number of bubbles. The solution shows the identification reaction of calcium salt <0301>.

含量测定 Content determination

取本品细粉约0.12g，精密称定，置锥形瓶中，加稀盐酸5ml，加热使溶解，加水150ml与甲基红指示液1滴，滴加氢氧化钾试液至溶液显黄色，再继续多加10ml，加钙黄绿素指示剂少量，用乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）滴定至溶液的黄绿色荧光消失，并显橙色。每1ml乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）相当于5.004mg的碳酸钙（CaCO3）。
Take about 0.12g of the powder, accurately weigh it, place it in a conical flask, add 5ml of dilute hydrochloric acid, heat to dissolve, add 150ml of water and 1 drop of methyl red indicator, and add dropwise potassium hydroxide test solution until the solution turns yellow. Continue to add 10ml, add a small amount of calcium yellow-green indicator, and titrate with disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate solution (0.05mol/L) until the yellow-green fluorescence of the solution disappears and turns orange. Each 1ml of disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate solution (0.05mol/L) is equivalent to 5.004mg of calcium carbonate (CaCO3).

本品含碳酸钙（CaCO3）不得少于95.0%。
The content of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in the drug should not be less than 95.0%.

Clean, break into small pieces, and dry.

煅钟乳石 Calcined Stalactite

炮制 Processing

取净钟乳石块，照明煅法（通则0213）煅至红透。
Take clean stalactite blocks and calcine them to redness according to the method of calcination by ignition <0213>.

甘。
Sweet.

归经 Meridian tropism

归肺、肾、胃经。
Lung, kidney, and stomach meridians.

功能 Actions

温肺，助阳，平喘，制酸，通乳。
To warm the lungs, assist yang, relieve asthma, regulate acidity, and promote lactation.

主治 Indications

用于寒痰咳喘，阳虚冷喘，腰膝冷痛，胃痛泛酸，乳汁不通。
Used for cold phlegm cough and asthma, cold asthma due to yang deficiency, cold and painful waist and knees, stomach pain and acid reflux, and blocked lactation.

用量 Dosage

3～9g。

先煎。

置干燥处。

Stalactite is a mineral of carbonates of calcite group, containing mainly calcium carbonate (CaCO3). The drug is collected, removed from foreign matter, washed clean, and dried in the sun.

性状 Description

本品为钟乳状集合体，略呈圆锥形或圆柱形。表面白色、灰白色或棕黄色，粗糙，凹凸不平。体重，质硬，断面较平整，白色至浅灰白色，对光观察具闪星状的亮光，近中心常有一圆孔，圆孔周围有多数浅橙黄色同心环层。气微，味微咸。
Aggregates crystalith-shaped, somewhat conical or cylindrical. Externally white, greyish-white or brownish-yellow, rough and uneven. Texture heavy and hard, fracture relatively even, white to pale greyish-white, showing bright twinkle against light, often with a rounded hole near the centre, surrounded by numerous pale orangish-yellow, concentrical rings. Odour, slight; taste, slightly salty.

鉴别 Identification

取本品，滴加稀盐酸，即产生大量气泡，溶液显钙盐（通则0301）的鉴别反应。
To the drug, add dropwise dilute hydrochloric acid TS, effervescence is produced; the solution yields the reactions characterisitic of calcium salts <0301>.

含量测定 Assay

取本品细粉约0.12g，精密称定，置锥形瓶中，加稀盐酸5ml，加热使溶解，加水150ml与甲基红指示液1滴，滴加氢氧化钾试液至溶液显黄色，再继续多加10ml，加钙黄绿素指示剂少量，用乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）滴定至溶液的黄绿色荧光消失，并显橙色。每1ml乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）相当于5.004mg的碳酸韩（CaC03）。本品含碳酸钙（CaC03）不得少于95.0%。
Dissolve about 0.12 g of the fine powder, accurately weighed in 5 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid TS in a conical flask by heating. Add 150 ml of water and 1 drop of methyl red IS, add dropwise potassium hydroxide TS until the solu-tion turns to yellow, then add 10 ml in excess. Add a small quantity of calcein indicator mixture, titrate with disodium edetate (0.05 mol/L) VS until the yellowish-green fluorescence disappeared and turn to orange. Each ml of disodium edetate (0.05 mol/L) VS is equivalent to 5.004 mg of calcium carbonate (CaCO3).

除去杂质，喷淋清水，稍润，切段，干燥。
Remove foreign matter, wash clean, slightly moisten, cut into sections, and dry.

煅钟乳石 Stalactitum (calcined)

炮制 Processing

取净钟乳石块，照明煅法（通则0213）煅至红透。
Take clean pieces of Stalactitum, calcine them as described under the method for calcining openly <0213> to red thoroughly.

甘。
Sweet.

归肺、肾、胃经。
