概述 Overview

本品为碳酸盐类矿物方解石族菱锌矿，主含碳酸锌（ZnCO3）。采挖后，洗净，晒干，除去杂石。
Calamine is the carbonate mineral of the calcite group, mainly containing zinc carbonate (ZnCO3). After mining, it is washed, dried, and impurities are removed.

性状 Description

本品为块状集合体，呈不规则的块状。灰白色或淡红色，表面粉性，无光泽，凹凸不平，多孔，似蜂窝状。体轻，易碎。气微，味微涩。
Calamine is a block-like aggregate, irregular in shape. It is grayish-white or pale red, powdery on the surface, without luster, uneven, porous, and honeycomb-like. It is light and fragile. It has a slight odor and a slightly astringent taste.

鉴别 Identification

（1）取本品粗粉1g，加稀盐酸10ml，即泡沸，发生二氧化碳气，导入氢氧化钙试液中，即生成白色沉淀。
(1) To 1g of the coarse powder add 10 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid, boil, and carbon dioxide gas is evolved. Pass the gas into a solution of calcium hydroxide, a white precipitate is formed.

（2）取本品粗粉1g，加稀盐酸10ml使溶解，滤过，滤液加亚铁氰化钾试液，即生成白色沉淀，或杂有微量的蓝色沉淀。
(2)To 1g of the coarse powder add 10 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid, dissolve, filter, add a solution of potassium ferrocyanide, a white precipitate is formed, or a trace of blue precipitate is present.

含量测定 Assay

取本品粉末约0.1g，在105℃干燥1小时，精密称定，置锥形瓶中，加稀盐酸10ml，振摇使锌盐溶解，加浓氨试液与氨-氯化铵缓冲液（PH10.0）各10ml，摇匀，加磷酸氢二钠试液10ml，振摇，滤过。锥形瓶与残渣用氨-氯化铵缓冲液（pH10.0）1份与水4份的混合液洗涤3次，每次10ml，合并洗液与滤液，加30%三乙醇胺溶液15ml与铬黑T指示剂少量，用乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）滴定至溶液由紫红色变为纯蓝色。每1ml乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液（0.05mol/L）相当于4.069mg的氧化锌（ZnO）。
The powder, about 0.1g, is dried at 105°C for 1 hour, accurately weighed, placed in a conical flask, and 10 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid is added. Shake to dissolve the zinc salt, add 10 ml each of concentrated ammonia solution and ammonium chloride buffer solution (pH 10.0), shake well, add 10 ml of disodium hydrogen phosphate solution, shake, and filter. Wash the conical flask and the residue with a mixture of 1 part of ammonium chloride buffer solution (pH 10.0) and 4 parts of water, 3 times, each time with 10 ml, combine the washings and the filtrate, add 15 ml of 30% triethanolamine solution and a small amount of Chromotrope Black T indicator, and titrate with 0.05mol/L disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate until the solution changes from purplish red to pure blue. Each 1 ml of 0.05mol/L disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate is equivalent to 4.069mg of zinc oxide (ZnO).

本品按干燥品计算，含氧化锌（ZnO）不得少于40.0%。
Calculated on the dried basis, it contains not less than 40.0% of zinc oxide (ZnO).

煅炉甘石 Calcined Calamine

炮制 Processing

取净炉甘石，照明煅法（通则0213）煅至红透，再照水飞法（通则0213）水飞，干燥。
Take clean calamine, calcine to redness according to the method of calcination<0213>, then water quench according to the method of water quenching<0213>, and dry.

性状 Description

本品呈白色、淡黄色或粉红色的粉末；体轻，质松软而细腻光滑。气微，味微涩。
This product is a white, light yellow or pink powder; light, fluffy and delicate smooth. It has a slight odour and a slightly astringent taste.

含量测定 Assay

同药材，含氧化锌（ZnO）不得少于56.0%。
Same as the herb, containing not less than 56.0% zinc oxide (ZnO).

性 Property

平。
Neutral.

味 Flavor

甘。
Sweet.

归经 Meridian tropism

归肝、脾经。
Liver and spleen meridians.

功能 Actions

解毒明目退翳，收湿止痒敛疮。
To detoxify, improve vision, remove nebula, relieve dampness, stop itching, and heal sores.

主治 Indications

用于目赤肿痛，睑弦赤烂，翳膜遮睛，胬肉攀睛，溃疡不敛，脓水淋漓，湿疮瘙痒。
Used for redness, swelling, and pain of the eyes, redness and soreness of the eyelids, nebula obstructing vision, granulation tissue climbing into the eyes, non-healing ulcers, profuse purulent discharge, and damp sores with itching.

用量 Dosage

外用适量。
Apply externally in appropriate amounts.

Calamina is a mineral of carbonates of smithsonite of calcite group, containing mainly zinc carbonate (ZnCO3). The drug is collected, washed clean, dried in the sun, and removed from foreign matter.

性状 Description

本品为块状集合体，呈不规则的块状。灰白色或淡红色，表面粉性，无光泽，凹凸不平，多孔，似蜂窝状。体轻，易碎。气微，味微涩。
Aggregate of masses, irregular: greyish-white or pale red. Externally powdery, lustreless, uneven, porous and honeycomb-like. Texture light, easily broken. Odour, slight; taste, slightly astringent.

（1）取本品粗粉1g，加稀盐酸10ml，即泡沸，发生二氧化碳气，导入氢氧化钙试液中，即生成白色沉淀。

煅炉甘石 Calamina (calcined)

炮制 Processing

取净炉甘石，照明煅法（通则0213）煅至红透，再照水飞法（通则0213）水飞，干燥。
Calcine the clean Calamina as described under the method for calcining openly <0213> until red thoroughly, then levigate as described under the method for levigating <0213> and dry in the sun.

性味与归经 Property and Flavor

甘，平。归肝、脾经。
Neutral; sweet. Liver and spleen meridians.

功能与主治 Actions and Indications

解毒明目退翳，收湿止痒敛疮。用于目赤肿痛，睑弦赤烂，翳膜遮睛，胬肉攀睛，溃疡不敛，脓水淋漓，湿疮瘙痒。
To remove toxin, improve vision, remove nebula, drain dampness, relieve itching and promote wound healing. Red painful swelling eyes, blepharitis, nebula covering the iris, pterygium, unhealed ulcer, persistent discharging pus, itching caused by dampness sore.

用法与用量 Administration and dosage

外用适量。
Appropriate amount for topical application.

置干燥处。
Preserve in a dry place.
