概述 Overview

本品为蔷薇科植物玫瑰Rosa rugosa Thunb.的干燥花蕾。春末夏初花将开放时分批采摘，及时低温干燥。
Rose Flower is the dried flower bud of Rosa rugosa Thunb. (Fam. Rosaceae). The drug is collected in batches when the flowers are about to bloom in late spring and early summer, and dried at low temperature in a timely manner.

性状 Description

本品略呈半球形或不规则团状，直径0.7～1.5cm。残留花梗上被细柔毛，花托半球形，与花萼基部合生；萼片5，披针形，黄绿色或棕绿色，被有细柔毛；花瓣多皱缩，展平后宽卵形，呈覆瓦状排列，紫红色，有的黄棕色；雄蕊多数，黄褐色；花柱多数，柱头在花托口集成头状，略突出，短于雄蕊。体轻，质脆。气芳香浓郁，味微苦涩。
The drug is slightly hemispherical or irregularly clumped, with a diameter of 0.7-1.5 cm. The residual pedicel is covered with fine soft hairs. The receptacle is hemispherical and fused with the base of the calyx. The sepals are lanceolate, yellowish-green or brownish-green, and covered with fine soft hairs. The petals are wrinkled and, when flattened, are broadly ovate and arranged in a tile-like manner, purple-red in color, some are yellowish-brown. Numerous stamens are yellow-brown, and numerous pistils have heads that are integrated into the mouth of the receptacle, slightly protruding, and shorter than the stamens. The body is light and brittle. The odor is fragrant and rich, and the taste is slightly bitter and astringent.

本品萼片表面观：非腺毛较密，单细胞，多弯曲，长136～680μm，壁厚，木化。腺毛头部多细胞，扁球形，直径64～180μm，柄部多细胞，多列性，长50～340μm，基部有时可见单细胞分枝。草酸钙簇晶直径9～25μm。
Surface view of sepals: Non-glandular hairs are dense, single-celled, often curved, 136-680μm long, thick-walled, and lignified. The head of the glandular hair is mostly multicellular, flattened and spherical, with a diameter of 64-180μm, and the stalk is multicellular, often in rows, 50-340μm long, and sometimes with single-cell branches at the base. Calcium oxalate cluster crystals have a diameter of 9-25μm.

Calyx 5, lanceolate, yellowish-green or brownish-green, pubescent.Petals frequently crumpled, broadly ovate when unfolded, imbricated, purplish-red, sometimes yellowish-brown. Stamens numerous, yellowish-brown.Style numerous, stigma cephaloid at the receptacle.Texture light and fragile. Odour, strongly aromatic; taste, slightly bitter and astringent.
