概述 Overview

本品为石竹科植物孩儿参Pseudostellaria heterophylla（Miq.）Pax ex Pax et Hoffm.的干燥块根。夏季茎叶大部分枯萎时采挖，洗净，除去须根，置沸水中略烫后晒干或直接晒干。
Pseudostellaria Root is the dried tuberous root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. (Fam. Caryophyllaceae). The drug is collected in summer when the stems and leaves are mostly withered, washed clean, the rootlets removed, slightly boiled in water, and dried in the sun or directly dried.

性状 Description

本品呈细长纺锤形或细长条形，稍弯曲，长3～10 cm，直径0.2～0.6 cm。表面灰黄色至黄棕色，较光滑，微有纵皱纹，凹陷处有须根痕。顶端有茎痕。质硬而脆，断面较平坦，周边淡黄棕色，中心淡黄白色，角质样。气微，味微甘。
Roots spindle-shaped or cylindrical, slightly curved, 3-10 cm long, 0.2-0.6 cm in diameter. Surface greyish-yellow to yellowish-brown, relatively smooth, slightly longitudinally wrinkled, with rootlet scars in the depressions. Apex with stem scars. Texture hard and brittle, fracture relatively flat, periphery pale yellowish-brown, center pale yellowish-white, horny. Odour, slight; taste, slightly sweet.

鉴别 Identification

（1）本品横切面：木栓层为2～4列类方形细胞。栓内层薄，仅数列薄壁细胞，切向延长。韧皮部窄，射线宽广。形成层成环。木质部占根的大部分，导管稀疏排列成放射状，初生木质部3～4原型。薄壁细胞充满淀粉粒，有的薄壁细胞中可见草酸钙簇晶。
(1) Transverse section of the drug: cork consisting of 2-4 rows of nearly square cells. Inner cork layer thin, composed of a few rows of thin-walled cells, elongated in the radial direction. Cortex narrow, rays wide. Cambium ring-shaped. Xylem occupying the major part of the root, vessels sparsely arranged in a radial pattern, primary xylem 3-4 protoxylem. Thin-walled cells filled with starch grains, some thin-walled cells containing clusters of calcium oxalate crystals.

（2）取本品粉末1 g，加甲醇10 ml，温浸，振摇30分钟，滤过，滤液浓缩至1 ml，作为供试品溶液。另取太子参对照药材1 g，同法制成对照药材溶液。照薄层色谱法（通则0502）试验，吸取上述两种溶液各1 μl，分别点于同一硅胶G薄层板上，以正丁醇-冰醋酸-水（4∶1∶1）为展开剂，置用展开剂预饱和15分钟的展开缸内，展开，取出，晾干，喷以0.2%茚三酮乙醇溶液，在105℃加热至斑点显色清晰。供试品色谱中，在与对照药材色谱相应的位置上，显相同颜色的斑点。
(2) To 1 g of the powder add 10 ml of methanol, heat under reflux for 30 minutes, filter, evaporate the filtrate to 1 ml, as the test solution. Prepare a solution of the reference drug, Pseudostellaria Root, in the same manner as the test solution. Carry out the method for thin layer chromatography<0502>, using silica gel G as the coating substance and a mixture of n-butanol, glacial acetic acid, and water (4:1:1) as the mobile phase. Apply separately to the plate 1 μl of each of the above two solutions. After developing and removal of the plate, dry in air. Spray with a 0.2% solution of anthrone in ethanol, heat at 105°C to the spots clear. The spot in the chromatogram obtained with the test solution corresponds in position and colour to the spot in the chromatogram obtained with the reference drug.

It is used for spleen deficiency and body fatigue, loss of appetite, weakness after illness, deficiency of qi and yin, spontaneous sweating and thirst, dry lung and dry cough.

Heterophylly Falsestarwort Root is the dried root tuber of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Miq.) Pax ex Pax et Hoffm. (Fam. Caryophyllaceae). The drug is collected in autumn when most of the aerial parts wither, washed clean, removed from rootlet, either treated with boiling water for a moment and then dried in the sun, or dried in the sun directly.

性状 Description

本品呈细长纺锤形或细长条形，稍弯曲，长3～10cm，直径0.2～0.6cm。表面灰黄色至黄棕色，较光滑，微有纵皱纹，凹陷处有须根痕。顶端有茎痕。质硬而脆，断面较平坦，周边淡黄棕色，中心淡黄白色，角质样。气微，味微甘。
Slenderly fusiform or slat-shaped, slightly curved, 3-10 cm long, 2-6 mm in diameter. Externally greyish-yellow to yellowish-brown, relatively smooth but slightly wrinkled longitudinally, with rootlet scars at dents. Apex with stem scars. Texture hard and fragile, fracture even, pale yellowish-brown at the edge; pale yellowish-white at the centre, horny. Odour, slight; taste, sweetish.

鉴别 Identification

益气健脾，生津润肺。用于脾虚体倦，食欲不振，病后虚弱，气阴不足，自汗口渴，肺燥干咳。
To tonify qi, fortify the spleen, engender fluids and moisten the lung. Spleen deficiency, fatigue, anepithymia, weakness after recovering from an illness, deficiency of qi and yin, spontaneous sweating, thirst, and dry cough caused by lung dryness.
