概述 Overview

本品为灯心草科植物灯心草Juncus effusus L.的干燥茎髓。夏末至秋季割取茎，晒干，取出茎髓，理直，扎成小把。
Rush Pith is the dried pith of the stem of Juncus effusus L. (Fam. Juncaceae). The drug is collected in late summer to autumn, the stems are cut, dried, the pith is removed, straightened, and tied into small bundles.

性状 Description

本品呈细圆柱形，长达90 cm，直径0.1～0.3 cm。表面白色或淡黄白色，有细纵纹。体轻，质软，略有弹性，易拉断，断面白色。气微，味淡。
Stems slender, cylindrical, up to 90 cm long, 0.1-0.3 cm in diameter; externally white or pale yellowish-white, with fine longitudinal striations; light in weight, soft in texture, slightly elastic, easily broken, fracture white. Odour, slight; taste, bland.

鉴别 Identification

（1）本品粉末类白色。全部为星状薄壁细胞，彼此以星芒相接，形成大的三角形或四边形气腔，星芒4～8，长5～51 μm，宽5～12 μm，壁稍厚，有的可见细小纹孔，星芒相接的壁菲薄，有的可见1～2个念珠状增厚。
(1) The powder is white. All cells are star-shaped and connected to each other to form large triangular or quadrangular air cavities. The rays are 4-8, 5-51 μm long and 5-12 μm wide. The walls are slightly thick, some with fine pores, and the walls connecting the rays are thin, some with 1-2 bead-like thickenings.

（2）取本品粉末1 g，加甲醇100 ml，加热回流1小时，放冷，滤过，滤液蒸干，残渣用乙醚2 ml洗涤，弃去乙醚液，加甲醇1 ml使溶解，作为供试品溶液。另取灯心草对照药材1 g，同法制成对照药材溶液。照薄层色谱法（通则0502）试验，吸取供试品溶液3～5 μl、对照药材溶液3 μl，分别点于同一硅胶G薄层板上，以环己烷-乙酸乙酯（10:7）为展开剂，展开，取出，晾干，喷以10%磷钼酸乙醇溶液，在105℃加热至斑点显色清晰。供试品色谱中，在与对照药材色谱相应的位置上，显相同颜色的主斑点。
(2) Take 1 g of the powder, add 100 ml of methanol, heat under reflux for 1 hour, cool, filter, evaporate the filtrate to dryness, wash the residue with 2 ml of ether, discard the ether solution, dissolve the residue in 1 ml of methanol as the test solution. Take 1 g of the reference drug of Rush Pith, prepare the reference drug solution in the same way. Carry out the method for thin layer chromatography<0502>, using silica gel G as the coating substance and a mixture of cyclohexane and ethyl acetate (10:7) as the mobile phase. Apply separately to the plate 3-5 μl of the test solution and 3 μl of the reference drug solution. After developing and removal of the plate, dry in air. Spray with a 10% solution of phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, heat at 105°C to the spots clear. The main spot in the chromatogram obtained with the test solution corresponds in position and colour to the spot in the chromatogram obtained with the reference drug solution.

Take 0.5 g of the sample, carry out the method for determination of ethanol-soluble Extractives <2201,the hot maceration method>, using diluted ethanol as the solvent,not less than 5.0 per cent.

性状 Description

本品形如药材，呈段状，约2～5 cm。体轻，质软，断面白色。气微，味淡。
This product is shaped like herbs, in the form of segments, about 2-5 cm. light, soft, white on the cross-section. It is light, soft and white in colour.

灯心炭 Carbonized Rush Pith

炮制 Processing

取净灯心草，照煅炭法（通则0213）制炭。
Take the clean Rush Pith and make charcoal according to the method of calcining charcoal (General rule 0213).

性状 Description

本品呈细圆柱形的段。表面黑色。体轻，质松脆，易碎。气微，味微涩。
This product is in the form of thin cylindrical segments. The surface is black. It is light, brittle and fragile. Slightly astringent flavour.

性 Property

微寒。
Slightly cold.

味 Flavor

甘、淡。
Sweet and mild.

归经 Meridian tropism

归心、肺、小肠经。
Heart, lung, and small intestine meridians.

功能 Actions

清心火，利小便。
To clear heart fire and promote diuresis.

用于心烦失眠，尿少涩痛，口舌生疮。
Used for restlessness and insomnia, scanty and painful urination, and oral ulcers.

取净灯心草，照煅炭法（通则0213）制炭。
Calcine the clean Medulla Junci as described under the method for carbonizing by calcining <0213>.

本品呈细圆柱形的段。表面黑色。体轻，质松脆，易碎。气微，味微涩。
In slenderly cylindrical sections. Externally black. Texture light, lax and fragile, easily broken. Odour slight, taste slightly astringent.

Mild cold; sweet and bland.
