阳雀花，中药名。为豆科植物云南锦鸡儿CaraganafranchetianaKom.的花。分布于四川、云南及西藏。具有益肾健脾之功效。常用于肾虚耳鸣，头晕眼花，头痛，肺痨咳嗽，小儿疳积。

直立灌木，高1-1.5m。枝条粗壮，伸长，树皮灰褐色。托叶三角形或卵状披针形，膜质，先端有或无针尖；偶数羽状复叶，长2-6cm，小叶常5-7对，小叶片倒卵状披针形或长椭圆形，长6-10mm，宽3-4mm，上面无毛，下面沿主脉被疏毛；托叶卵状三角形，被毛；长枝上的叶轴宿存，并硬化成粗壮的刺，无毛。花单生，花梗长短不一，在中部具关节；苞片卵形，渐尖头，小苞片2，线形，贴生于萼上；萼圆筒形，长1-1.5cm，基部具明显囊状突起，被疏柔毛，后变为无毛，萼齿长约为萼筒的1/2，密生短柔毛；花冠蝶形，黄色，旗瓣近圆形，长18-20mm，先端圆，具短尖，翼瓣具耳2片，下耳条形，与爪等长，上耳呈牙齿状，龙骨瓣与爪近相等；子房密被柔毛。荚果圆柱状，长3-4cm，宽3-4mm，外面和里面均密被绒毛。花期6月，果期7-8月。
Upright shrub, 1-1.5m tall. Branches stout, elongated, with gray-brown bark. Stipules triangular or ovate-lanceolate, membranous, with or without needle-like tips at the apex; even-pinnate compound leaves, 2-6cm long, with usually 5-7 pairs of leaflets, which are inverted ovate-lanceolate or elongated elliptical, 6-10mm long, 3-4mm wide, glabrous on the upper surface, sparsely hairy along the midrib on the lower surface; stipules ovate-triangular, hairy; leaf rachis on long branches persistent and hardened into stout thorns, glabrous. Flowers solitary, pedicels of varying lengths, jointed in the middle; bracts ovate, gradually pointed, with 2 linear bracteoles adnate to the calyx; calyx tubular, 1-1.5cm long, with a distinct sac-like protuberance at the base, sparsely pubescent, becoming glabrous later, calyx teeth about half the length of the calyx tube, densely covered with short soft hairs; corolla papilionaceous, yellow, standard petal nearly circular, 18-20mm long, apex rounded with a short point, wings with two auricles—lower auricle linear and equal in length to the claw, upper auricle tooth-like—keel petal nearly equal to the claw; ovary densely hairy. Pods cylindrical, 3-4cm long, 3-4mm wide, densely covered with villous hair on both outer and inner surfaces. Flowering period in June, fruiting period in July-August.
