取待炮炙品，砸成小块，置适宜的容器内，煅至酥脆或红透时，取出，放凉，碾碎。含有结晶水的盐类药材，不要求煅红，但需使结晶水蒸发至尽，或全部形成蜂窝状的块状固体。根据中华人民共和国药典2020版四部0213炮制通则。
