形态特征 Morphological Characteristics
灌木,高0.8-2m。多分枝;茎、枝四棱形,幼时被白色卷曲柔毛,老时皮层剥落,变无毛。叶对生;叶柄极短或近于无柄;叶片披针形或椭圆状披针形,长6-13cm,宽2-3.5cm,先端渐尖,基部狭楔形,边缘在基部以上具粗锯齿,近基部全缘,上面被糙伏毛,下面被弯曲的短柔毛,两面具黄色腺点,侧脉6-8对。轮伞花序多花密集成假穗状花序,顶生和腋生;苞片披针形或钻形;花萼钟形,长约1.5mm,外面被短柔毛,萼齿5,长约0.5mm,果时花萼圆筒状,长约3mm;花冠白色或淡黄色,长约5mm,外面被弯曲柔毛和黄色腺点,上唇直立,长约0.5mm,先端微缺,边缘具长柔毛,下唇3裂,中裂片圆形,长约1mm,侧裂片半圆形;雄蕊4,前对较长,伸出,花丝无毛,花药2室;子房4裂,花柱伸出花冠,柱头2深裂。小坚果长圆形,长1.5mm,腹面具棱,褐色。花期7-9月,果期9-11月。
Shrub, 0.8-2m tall. Highly branched; stems and branches are quadrangular, covered with white curly soft hairs when young, becoming glabrous as they age with exfoliating bark. Leaves are opposite; petioles very short or nearly absent; leaf blades lanceolate or elliptic-lanceolate, 6-13cm long, 2-3.5cm wide, apex gradually acuminate, base narrowly cuneate, margins coarsely serrate above the base and entire near the base, sparsely appressed-hairy above, curved short-pubescent beneath, both surfaces dotted with yellow glandular spots, lateral veins 6–8 pairs. Whorled cymes many-flowered, densely aggregated into false spike-like inflorescences, terminal and axillary; bracts lanceolate or subulate; calyx campanulate, ca. 1.5mm long, externally pubescent, with 5 teeth ca. 0.5mm long; in fruit, calyx becomes cylindrical, ca. 3mm long; corolla white or pale yellow, ca. 5mm long, externally covered with curved soft hairs and yellow glandular dots; upper lip erect, ca. 0.5mm long, slightly emarginate at apex, margin ciliate; lower lip 3-lobed, middle lobe circular, ca. 1mm long, lateral lobes semicircular; stamens 4, anterior pair longer and exserted, filaments glabrous, anthers 2-celled; ovary deeply 4-lobed, style exserted beyond corolla, stigma deeply 2-parted. Nutlets oblong, ca. 1.5mm long, ventral surface ridged, brown. Flowering from July to September, fruiting from September to November.
