药材性状：根茎呈连珠状结节，直或稍弯曲，似一串小荸荠，长2-9厘米，直径0.5-2厘米。表面紫褐色或棕褐色，有6-10节，每节呈扁球形，被残存叶基，并有残留细根及点硬，折断面近圆形，浅粉红色或灰黄色，近边缘处有12-30个黄白色维管束点排成断续环状。气微，味涩。
