功效作用 Efficacy and Functions
补中气,强筋骨,止泻痢。
Tonify the middle Qi, strengthen the tendons and bones, and stop diarrhea and dysentery.

小儿疳积,下痢,百日咳。

用法用量 Dosage and Administration
内服:煮食,1-2只;或烧存性,研末。
Internal use: cook and eat, 1-2 pieces; or burn to charcoal, grind into powder.
禁忌 Contraindications
1、《食疗本草》:“不可共猪肉食之,令人多生疮。”四月以后及八月以前鹑肉不可食。
2、《七卷经》:“食之令人忘。”(引自《医心方》)

临床应用 Clinical Application
药膳食疗:桂髓鹌鹑汤:功效:用于贫血、营养不良、疲乏无力、形瘦气短、面色萎黄、头晕眼花等症,常用本汤有润泽肌肤、防止皮肤早衰、皱纹早现的作用。
Medicated diet: Guisui Quail Soup: Effects: Used for anemia, malnutrition, fatigue, weakness, thin body, shortness of breath, sallow complexion, dizziness, and blurred vision; this soup is often used to moisturize the skin, prevent premature skin aging, and early appearance of wrinkles.
原材料:鹌鹑1只,猪脊髓30g,桂圆肉30g,桂皮3g,冰糖6g,姜葱适量。
Ingredients: 1 quail, 30g pig spinal cord, 30g longan flesh, 3g cassia bark, 6g rock sugar, and appropriate amount of ginger and green onion.
做法:鹌鹑剥净,去内脏及爪,洗净切块。猪脊髓去血丝、略洗。桂圆肉洗净备用。将以上备用材料全部放入炖盅内,加入清汤适量,炖盅加盖置锅内用文火隔水炖2-3小时,调味即可。
Method: Clean the quail, remove internal organs and claws, wash and cut into pieces. Remove blood vessels from pig spinal cord and rinse lightly. Wash longan flesh and set aside. Place all prepared ingredients into a stew pot, add sufficient clear broth, cover, and stew over low heat in a water bath for 2–3 hours. Season to taste.
用法:佐餐食用。
Usage: Serve with meals.
水肿:鹌鹑2只,去毛及内脏,加少量酒,不加盐,炖熟吃。每日吃1次,连吃3次。(《常见动物药》)
Edema: Use 2 quails, remove feathers and internal organs, add a small amount of wine, no salt, stew until cooked and consume. Take once daily for 3 consecutive days. (From "Common Animal Medicines")
