Evergreen tall tree, reaching over 10 meters in height. The bark often peels off in flakes and is light bluish-gray in color. The branches are slightly four-angled with glandular dots, and narrow wings along the edges. There are two types of leaves: normal leaves grow on mature trees, with a leaf stalk about 2cm long, and a sickle-shaped lanceolate leaf blade, thick and 12-30cm long, gradually tapering to a long, sometimes slightly tail-shaped tip, and with a wide and slightly oblique base; abnormal leaves grow on young plants and new branches, arranged in opposite pairs, with an elliptic-ovate leaf blade, stem-clasping, about 10cm long, short-pointed at the tip, and heart-shaped at the base. Both types of leaves are densely covered with white powder on the underside, giving them a greenish-gray color, and have distinct glandular dots on both sides. It blooms in spring, usually with single flowers growing in the leaf axils or in clusters of 2-3, either stalkless or with extremely short and flat stalks; the petals and sepals form a tubular structure, pale yellowish-white in color, with a diameter of 3cm; numerous stamens are arranged separately. The fruit is cup-shaped, with four angles and inconspicuous tubercles, about 2cm in diameter, with thick edges and 4 fruit segments. The seeds are numerous, small, and brown. Distribution area.
