药材性状：全草捆成把，长30-45cm。根茎呈不规则柱状，密被红棕色披针形鳞片；质硬脆，断面淡棕色或淡绿色，有数个黄白色点状分体中柱环列。叶皱缩或破碎；完整叶片展平后呈阔卵状五角形，三回羽状，最基部一对羽片对生，向上互生，末回小羽片5-6对，长圆形，先端有3锯齿，两侧羽状；表面黄绿色，两面及叶轴、羽轴表面均密被细小球杆状腺毛；孢子囊群圆肾形，生于叶裂片小脉中部，囊群盖淡棕色，膜质；叶柄长约20cm，基部膨大部分密被红棕色披针形鳞片，断面有两个黄白色长圆形分体中柱呈“八”字形排列，叶片质脆，易碎。气微，味淡。

The leaves are wrinkled or fragmented; when the complete leaf blade is spread out, it is broadly ovate-pentagonal, tripinnate, with a pair of opposite basal pinnae and 5-6 pairs of terminal pinnae, which are elongated with three serrations at the apex and pinnate on both sides; the surface is yellowish-green, and both sides as well as the leaf axis and pinna axis are densely covered with fine glandular hairs. The sporangia are round-kidney-shaped, located in the middle of the leaflet veins, with a light brown membranous sporangial cover; the leaf stalk is approximately 20cm long, with the basal portion densely covered with reddish-brown lanceolate scales, and a cross-section revealing two yellowish-white elongated sorus arranged in a "figure-eight" pattern. The leaf blade is brittle and easily broken. It has a mild odor and a bland taste.

植株高达22厘米。根茎短而横生，连同叶柄基部膨大部分密生棕色、狭披针形鳞片，顶部边缘有小齿。叶近生；叶柄长约7厘米；叶片卵状三角形，长13-20厘米，基部宽约14厘米，顶端渐尖，四回羽裂；羽片约8对，有柄，互生，斜向上，基部1对最大，卵状三角形，长达7厘米，宽4-5厘米，急尖头，有短柄，三回羽裂；一回小羽片7-8对，斜展，基部下侧1片最大，卵形，基部近楔形，二回羽状；裂片5对，分裂细，长圆形，先端有2-3细锯齿；叶片、叶柄、叶轴及羽轴均疏被柔毛；叶脉在裂片上羽状，小脉单一或二叉。孢子囊群小，圆形，背生于侧脉中部以上；囊群盖圆肾形，疏生柔毛。

The sori are small, round, and borne on the upper part of the lateral veins; the indusia are round-kidney-shaped, sparsely covered with soft hairs.
