猫脚印，中药名。为牻牛儿苗科老鹳草属植物纤细老鹳草GeraniumrobertianumL.的全草。植物纤细老鹳草，分布于台湾、湖北、四川、贵州、云南。具有祛风除湿，解毒消肿之功效。主治风湿痹痛，扭挫损伤，疮疖痈肿，麻疹，子宫脱垂。
Cat's footpr, name of Chinese Medicinal Material. ts (Mao-jiao-yin). It refers to the whole plant of Geranium robertianum L., a plant of the Geraniaceae family. The plant is distributed in Taiwan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan. It has the effects of dispelling wind and dampness, detoxification, and reducing swelling. 一年生草本，植株瘦弱，高25-40cm。根多数，粗铁丝状，多汁。茎直立，多分枝，略有白色柔毛。叶对生，五角状圆形，长宽各4-7cm，3-5全裂，裂片卵形，羽状深裂，中全裂片有长柄，侧全裂片有短柄，均细裂，小裂片约3对，长圆形，凸尖头；叶柄长为叶片长的2-4倍，上部叶有短柄。花序柄远较叶为长，顶生2花；花柄较花略短，在果期斜向上；萼片披针形，被长白毛，有3脉，中间一脉隆起；花瓣红紫色，较萼片长2倍。蒴果长1.8-2.5cm。花果期5-10月。
It is an annual herb with slender and weak plants, reaching a height of 25-40cm. It has numerous roots that are thick and succulent. The stem is erect, highly branched, and slightly covered with white soft hairs. The leaves are opposite, pentagonal to circular, with a length and width of 4-7cm each, deeply lobed into 3-5 segments. The lobes are ovate, deeply divided, with the central lobe having a long stalk and the lateral lobes having short stalks. They are finely divided, with about 3 pairs of small, elongated, and pointed lobes. The leaf stalk is 2-4 times the length of the leaf blade, with short stalks on the upper leaves. The peduncle of the inflorescence is much longer than the leaves, bearing 2 flowers at the top. The flower stalk is slightly shorter than the flower, and it inclines upwards during the fruiting period. The sepals are lanceolate, covered with long white hairs, with 3 veins and a prominent midvein. The petals are red-purple, twice as long as the sepals. The capsule is 1.8-2.5cm long. It flowers and fruits from May to October.
