鹅绒藤，中药名。为萝藦科植物鹅绒藤CynanchumchinenseR.Br.茎中的白色浆乳汁及根。分布于辽宁、内蒙古、河北、山西、陕西、宁夏、甘肃、山东、江苏、浙江、河南等地。具有清热解毒，消积健胃，利水消肿之功效。常用于小儿食积，疳积，胃炎，十二指肠溃疡，肾炎水肿及寻常疣。

药材性状：根呈圆柱形，长约20cm，直径5-8mm。表面灰黄色，平滑或有细皱纹，栓皮易剥离，剥离处显灰白色。质脆，易折断，断面不平坦，黄色，中空。气微，味淡。
The characteristics of the medicinal material: The roots are cylindrical, about 20 cm long and 5–8 mm in diameter. The surface is grayish-yellow, smooth or with fine wrinkles. 缠绕草本；主根圆柱状，长约20厘米，直径约5毫米，干后灰黄色；全株被短柔毛。叶对生，薄纸质，宽三角状心形，长4-9厘米，宽4-7厘米，顶端锐尖，基部心形，叶面深绿色，叶背苍白色，两面均被短柔毛，脉上较密；侧脉约10对，在叶背略为隆起。伞形聚伞花序腋生，两歧，着花约20朵；花萼外面被柔毛；花冠白色，裂片长圆状披针形；副花冠二形，杯状，上端裂成10个丝状体，分为两轮，外轮约与花冠裂片等长，内轮略短；花粉块每室1个，下垂；花柱头略为突起，顶端2裂。蓇葖双生或仅有1个发育，细圆柱状，向端部渐尖，长11厘米，直径5毫米；种子长圆形；种毛白色绢质。花期6-8月，果期8-10月。
Twining herb; main root cylindrical, about 20 cm long and 5 mm in diameter, grayish-yellow when dried; the whole plant is covered with short soft hairs. Leaves are opposite, thin and papery, broadly triangular-heart shaped, 4–9 cm long and 4–7 cm wide, sharply pointed at the apex, heart-shaped at the base, dark green on the upper surface and pale white beneath, both surfaces covered with short soft hairs, denser along the veins; about 10 pairs of lateral veins, slightly raised on the lower surface. Umbel-like cymes axillary, dichotomous, bearing about 20 flowers; calyx hairy on the outside; corolla white, lobes lanceolate; corona biseriate, cup-shaped, with 10 filamentous lobes at the top arranged in two whorls, outer whorl nearly equaling the corolla lobes, inner whorl slightly shorter; one pendulous pollen mass per locule; stigma slightly protruding, apex 2-lobed. Follicles paired or only one developed, slender cylindrical, tapering towards the apex, 11 cm long and 5 mm in diameter; seeds oblong; coma white and silky. Flowering from June to August, fruiting from August to October.
