走马芹，中药名。为伞形科植物下延古当归Archangelica decurrens Ledeb.的根。具有祛风消斑的功效。主治白癜风。

药材鉴别 Identification of Medicinal Materials

药材性状：根较（白芷）细瘦，圆锥形。外表棕褐色，上部多横皱纹，下部有纵纹，具侧根断后的疤痕。断面色黄，有类似芹菜的气味。
The root is slender and conical (compared to Bai Zhi). The surface is brownish, with transverse wrinkles in the upper part and longitudinal lines in the lower part, bearing scars from detached lateral roots. The cross-section is yellow with a scent similar to celery.

多年生草本，高1-2m。根圆柱形，粗壮，棕褐色。茎中空，有细纵棱，光滑无毛。叶为二至三回三出羽状全裂，基生叶有长柄；茎上叶叶柄长8-17cm，叶柄下部膨大成兜状叶鞘，宽至6cm，光滑无毛；叶片轮廓宽三角状卵形，长11-15（20）cm，宽11-17cm，顶生末回裂片下延，边缘有锯齿或不规则深齿，齿端有钝尖头，叶片表面深绿色，背面粉绿色，两面均无毛；茎顶部叶简化成囊状鞘。复伞形花序近球形，直径7-15cm；伞辐20-50，有短糙毛；总苞片约10，狭披针形；萼齿不明显，花瓣白色，阔卵形；花柱基平扁，边缘波状。果实椭圆形，长5-10mm，宽3-5mm，果棱均突起，厚翅状，侧棱比果体狭，油管较多，连成环状。花期7-8月，果期8-9月。
Perennial herb, 1-2m tall. The root is cylindrical, stout, and brown. The stem is hollow, with fine longitudinal ridges, smooth and hairless. The leaves are 2-3 times pinnately compound with ternate divisions; basal leaves have long petioles; upper stem leaves have petioles 8–17 cm long, with the lower part expanded into a sheath up to 6 cm wide, smooth and hairless. The blade outline is broadly triangular-ovate, 11–15 (up to 20) cm long, 11–17 cm wide, terminal segments decurrent, margins serrated or irregularly deeply toothed with blunt tips. Upper surface dark green, lower surface pale green, both surfaces glabrous; uppermost stem leaves reduced into pouch-like sheaths. Compound umbel nearly spherical, 7–15 cm in diameter; rays 20–50, with short rough hairs; about 10 bracts, narrowly lanceolate; calyx teeth inconspicuous; petals white, broadly ovate; stylopodium flat, margin undulate. Fruit elliptic, 5–10 mm long, 3–5 mm wide; all primary ridges prominent, thick-winged; lateral wings narrower than body; numerous oil tubes forming a continuous ring. Flowering from July to August, fruiting from August to September.
