概述 Overview

本品为甘草的炮制加工品。
Honey-Fried Licorice Root and Rhizome is the processed product of Licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. ex DC.) (Fam. Leguminosae).

炮制 Processing

取甘草片,照蜜炙法(通则0213)炒至黄色至深黄色,不粘手时取出,晾凉。
Take Licorice slices, fry them with honey <0213> until they turn yellow to dark yellow, remove when not sticky, and let them cool.

性状 Description

本品呈类圆形或椭圆形切片。外表皮红棕色或灰棕色,微有光泽。切面黄色至深黄色,形成层环明显,射线放射状。略有黏性。具焦香气,味甜。
Slices are nearly circular or elliptical. The outer surface is reddish-brown or grayish-brown with a slight luster. The cut surface is yellow to dark yellow, with distinct concentric rings and radial rays. Slightly sticky. It has a burnt aroma and a sweet taste.

鉴别 Identification

照甘草项下的〔鉴别〕(2)项试验,显相同的结果。
Perform the test described in the identification(2)section of Licorice, and obtain the same results.

含量测定 Assay

同甘草药材,含甘草苷(C21H22O9)不得少于0.50%,甘草酸(C42H62O16)不得少于1.0%。
Carry out the assay for Glycyrrhizin and Glycyrrhetinic acid in the same manner as for Glycyrrhiza <2201>, not less than 0.50 per cent and not less than 1.0 per cent, respectively.

概述 Overview

本品为甘草的炮制加工品。
The drug is the processed Glycyrrhizae Radix.

制法 Procedure

取甘草片,照蜜炙法(通则0213)炒至黄色至深黄色,不粘手时取出,晾凉。
Stir-bake the slices of Glycyrrhizae Radix as described under the method for stir-baking with honey <0213> until it becomes yellow to deep yellow and not sticky to the fingers, take out and cool in the air.

性状 Description

本品呈类圆形或椭圆形切片。外表皮红棕色或灰棕色,微有光泽。切面黄色至深黄色,形成层环明显,射线放射状。略有黏性。具焦香气,味甜。
Occurring in subrounded or elliptical slices, externally reddish-brown or greyish-brown, slightly lustrous, cut surface yellow to deep yellow, cambium ring distinct, rays radiate. Texture sticky. Odour, with agreeable burnt smelling; taste, sweet.

照甘草项下的[鉴别](2)项试验,显相同的结果。
Carry out the method as described under Identification test (2) of Glycyrrhizae Radix, it shows the same result.

It contains not less than 0.50 per cent of liquiritin (C21H22O9) and 1.0 per cent of glycyrrhizic acid (C42 H62 O16), following the method for Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma.

性味与归经 Property and Flavor

甘,平。归心、肺、脾、胃经。
Neutral; sweet. Meridian tropism Heart, lung, spleen and stomach meridians.

功能与主治 Actions and Indications

补脾和胃,益气复脉。用于脾胃虚弱,倦怠乏力,心动悸,脉结代。
To tonify spleen, harmonize the stomach, tonify qi, and restore pulse. Indications Spleen-stomach weakness, fatigue, lack of strength, palpitations, and intermittent pulses.

用法与用量 Administration and Dosage

2-10 g.

注意 Precautions

【注意】与海藻、大戟、酮栝楼、甘遂、芫花不宜同用。
Incompatible with Sargassum, Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix, Knoxiae Radix, Kansui Radix, Genkwa Flos.
